2. What we collect

• Contact details — name, email, telephone and WhatsApp number
• Immigration and case data — nationality, immigration status, visa history, application documents and supporting evidence
• Financial data — invoices and payment records (we do not store full card numbers)
• Communications — emails, WhatsApp messages, call notes and consultation records
• Website usage data — pages visited and, where enabled, analytics/advertising identifiers (see our Cookie Policy)

Some immigration matters involve special category data (for example health information in a human rights or adult dependent relative application, or details of a criminal record for good-character assessments). We only collect this where relevant to your matter and rely on the condition of "substantial public interest" or your explicit consent.

3. How we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide our services (contract) — preparing and submitting your immigration application
• To respond to enquiries and run our business (legitimate interests) — before any contract is formed
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation) — anti-money laundering checks, regulatory reporting
• To send marketing communications (consent) — only where you have opted in; you can withdraw consent at any time

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary: with the Home Office/UKVI and other authorities as part of your application; with barristers or experts you instruct us to engage; with our IT, CRM, payment and communication providers under data processing agreements; and where required by law or regulation. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We retain client files for [6 years] after your matter closes, in line with our professional and regulatory obligations, after which records are securely destroyed. Enquiry data from people who do not become clients is deleted after [12–24 months] unless you ask us to keep in touch.
